At New Horizons in Autism Inc, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Support Specialist to join our team. This role involves providing direct care and supervision for individuals with autism in a residential home setting, as well as assisting with day-to-day operations of the group home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living tasks and medication management.
  • Assist residents with life skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and budgeting.
  • Transport residents to appointments and activities, as needed.
  • Provide daily structure and support to residents, including creating and implementing individualized care plans.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 20 years old.
  • A valid NJ driver's license is required.
  • Ability to interact effectively with individuals with autism, solve problems systematically, and communicate professionally.
