Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Accountant to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of financial tasks, ensuring all accounting activities comply with legal regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
  • Conduct account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts.
  • Maintain the general ledger chart of accounts.
  • Assist with initial internal control evaluations.
  • Post monthly, quarterly, and yearly accruals.
  • Assist with fund-level accounting and reporting.
  • Account/bank reconciliations.
  • Review and process expense reports.
  • Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process.
  • Implement and maintain report procedures and controls.
  • Assist with the preparation of tax returns and corporate reporting requirements.
  • Assist the Controller with various projects as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Account Reconciliation, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Statements, Financial Reporting, and Financial Analysis.
  • 2+ years of lease accounting experience.
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly with accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Experience with consolidations or accounting for joint ventures.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to direct and supervise.
  • Knowledge of GAAP reporting requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
