Position Overview:
We are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Neurosurgeon with a specialization in Trauma and Spine to enhance our esteemed medical team.
Facility Highlights:
- Comprehensive 800+ bed medical center equipped with specialized Neurosurgery operating rooms, dedicated neuroscience units, and a Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit.
- Recognized as a Level 1 trauma center, Joint Commission Comprehensive Stroke Center, NAEC Level 4 Epilepsy Center, and Joint Commission Advanced Spine Center.
- State-of-the-art surgical technology, featuring Mazor X spine robots, Medtronic O-Arm and Stealth Navigation systems, Zeiss microscopes, and additional essential equipment.
- Five dedicated Neurosurgery operating rooms supported by an experienced OR staff, including a Perioperative Manager.
- Two specialized neuroscience units and a dedicated 23-bed Neuroscience ICU staffed with neurocritical care nurses, Advanced Practice Providers, and eight Neurointensivists.
- Dedicated Neurosurgery Nurse Navigators to assist patients throughout their care journey.
- Active Neurosurgery Residency Program in collaboration with a prestigious medical school.

Program Overview:
The neurosurgery program is one of the busiest in the region, with a team of nine Neurosurgeons and over 20 Physician Assistants, performing more than 2,000 neurosurgical procedures annually. Our program encompasses subspecialty expertise in areas such as Functional Neurosurgery (including Deep Brain Stimulation), Epilepsy, Skull Base Surgery, Complex Spine, Neurosurgical Oncology, Vascular & Endovascular Neurosurgery, and Trauma.
The incoming surgeon will benefit from an established patient volume, focusing on urgent cases, neuro-trauma, traumatic brain injuries, spinal injuries, and complex spinal conditions. There will also be opportunities to maintain an elective practice alongside acute and urgent neurosurgical interventions. Additionally, the surgeon will lead the neurosurgery component of the trauma team, oversee the Head Injury Program, and act as a liaison for Neurocritical Care.
