Supply Chain Project Manager III

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Project Manager III to join our team at Blue Origin. As a key member of our Operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence and process compliance within New Glenn Operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, with experience in capacity planning, inventory optimization, and supply chain strategy and management. They will be able to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and develop effective solutions to drive business growth.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the monitoring of critical business-wide metrics and coordinating cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain effectiveness.
  • Leading the development and execution of long-term capacity planning strategies to support growth.
  • Implementing advanced supply chain modeling techniques for inventory optimization and cost reduction.
  • Utilizing data-driven insights to drive efficiency and cost reduction in supply chain operations.
  • Cultivating a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer obsession.
  • Leading cross-functional teams in continuous improvement of supply chain processes and systems.
  • Establishing and monitoring performance metrics for supply chain management.
  • Maintaining optimal inventory levels to support operations.
  • Coordinating and resolving company-wide risks and obstacles to align schedules with customer needs.
  • Reporting key supplier progress to senior leadership in operational initiatives.
  • Directing production readiness assessments for New Product Introduction and rate increases with business-wide impact.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of direct experience or 10+ years in supply chain management. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools are also required. Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities are essential for success in this role.

Preferred qualifications include Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent and experience with Deltek Costpoint and Coupa system(s).

Blue Origin offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $108,360.00-$151,704.00, as well as benefits such as medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability, 401(k) with a company match of up to 5%, and an Education Support Program.
