Procurement Manager for Blue Origin's Supply Chain

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Blue Origin. As a key member of our supply chain organization, you will be responsible for developing strategic procurement solutions and executing day-to-day tactical purchasing functions for various spaceflight systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement category plans to meet program requirements
  • Evaluate and manage the supply base to ensure compliance with Blue Origin's standards
  • Develop business cases and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive organizational and policy change to enhance Blue Origin's bottom-line

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, Master's degree with 3 years of experience in Business Administration/Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related industry experience
  • Experience with subcontracting of tooling research and development, spec requirements, build to print and COTS commodities
  • Significant understanding of US Government and non-US Government / Commercial acquisitions
  • Experienced knowledge / compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
