Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Porter (Full Time) to join our team at Compass Group Careers. As a Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the front of the house, including all tables, counters, floors, windows, and beverage stations.
  • Table Bussing and Cleaning: Ensure tables are bussed, cleared, and cleaned during peak service times and are prepped prior to service.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Follow safety procedures when transporting dishes and utensils from the front of the house to the kitchen area using trays, bus tubs, or carts.
  • Washing and Sanitizing: Wash dishes, glasses, and pots; clean cooking stations and equipment to expedite a smooth flow of service while maintaining sanitation standards.
  • Display Equipment Maintenance: Keep display equipment clean, free of debris, and in compliance with all safety and sanitation standards during meal service.
  • Delivery and Storage: Help receive heavy deliveries from the dock and transport them to assigned storage areas while observing all safe lifting standards.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects, as well as stand for long periods of time.
