Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Power Engineering Principal to join our team at BioSpace, Inc. This is a critical role that will provide technical leadership and expertise in electrical power engineering, driving innovation and excellence in our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise in electrical power engineering, including oversight of the community, technology development, and knowledge sharing.
  • Consult with sites globally on technical evaluation, master planning, technology assessments, and specific problem resolution, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Create and maintain computer-based electrical distribution models and associated coordination, fault, and arc flash hazard studies for sites globally.
  • Monitor and influence changes in external codes and standards on our behalf, ensuring ongoing compliance within our organization.
  • Provide ongoing technical support to site plant engineering groups, domestic and global, and participate in the creation and maintenance of Engineering Standards, Master Specifications, and Best Practices.
Requirements
  • BS in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in power generation and distribution
  • PE certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and with little direction
