At Zobility, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing rugged military electrical systems for ground, shipboard, and airborne applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in designing and developing complex electrical systems. They will be responsible for leading the electrical design team, performing design reviews, and ensuring that all designs meet the required specifications and standards.

The candidate will also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers, developing and implementing design processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

We are looking for a self-motivated and organized individual with excellent communication and teamwork skills. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop rugged military electrical systems for ground, shipboard, and airborne applications
  • Lead the electrical design team and perform design reviews
  • Mentor junior engineers and develop and implement design processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Ensure that all designs meet the required specifications and standards
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in electrical engineering
  • Strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in designing and developing complex electrical systems
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with Altium Designer and other electrical design software
  • Knowledge of military specifications and standards
  • Experience with design for test and design for production
  • Knowledge of power electronics and digital power control
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of related professional experience
