This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and service at Keswick Hall and Club. The Guest Room Specialist will engage in various housekeeping tasks, preparing rooms for incoming guests and providing daily services for those staying longer.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas and housekeeping equipment, assisting colleagues as needed.
- Exhibit a positive demeanor towards guests, addressing their requests and concerns with professionalism.
- Prepare rooms for cleaning, ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Dust and sanitize furniture and surfaces within guest rooms.
- Restock guestroom and bathroom supplies, clean bathrooms, vacuum carpets, and replenish amenities while respecting guest privacy.
- Replace used linens and towels with fresh ones according to established standards.
- Thoroughly clean closets and door tracks in check-out rooms, removing dust and debris.
- Ensure proper organization of hangers, extra bedding, and luggage racks.
- Adhere to the hotel's Lost and Found policy.
- Clean outdoor terraces adjacent to guest rooms.
- Deliver and retrieve items requested by guests, such as irons and ironing boards.
- Participate in periodic deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
- Organize guest clothing in armoires and on hangers.
- Anticipate and respond to guest needs promptly, regardless of the time of day.
- Update room status on assignment sheets accurately.
- Collaborate closely with management to communicate the occupancy status of guest rooms.
- Return and restock cleaning carts at the end of each shift.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular inventories of linens and towels.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with proper cleaning chemicals and safety protocols.
- Knowledge of fire safety procedures and emergency response.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions effectively.
- Ability to work independently while being a supportive team member.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform various cleaning tasks.
- Capability to stretch, bend, and kneel as necessary during cleaning activities.
