Job Summary

Keswick Hall & Club is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to maintain the aesthetic appeal and safety of our property. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to upholding our standards of excellence in hospitality.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform minor repairs in guest rooms and common areas of the hotel.
  2. Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper turndown of rooms is completed.
  3. Utilize proper equipment, wear appropriate personal protective clothing (PPE), and employ correct lifting procedures to avoid injury.
  4. Complete necessary safety training and certifications to perform work tasks.
  5. Perform light general building maintenance as needed.
  6. Adhere to policies and procedures for the safe operation and storage of tools, equipment, and machines.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Previous experience working in hotel/resort/hospitality settings is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, and possess excellent communication skills.

Position functions with supervision.

Minimum of a High School diploma (or equivalent) and 0-2 years of experience is required.

A combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.

Physical Demands

Constantly standing, walking, or stooping is required.

Ability to climb a ladder is necessary.
