KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepare a diverse range of dishes including meats, seafood, poultry, and vegetables, adhering to the highest culinary standards using established recipes.
  • Utilize various kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, and grills to prepare meals.
  • Ensure the quality of all food products served.
  • Consistently comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen policies.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels of food products at line stations for efficient service.
  • Control food costs by adhering to portion sizes and recipe specifications, and manage food rotation to minimize waste.
  • Prepare items for various cooking methods including broiling, grilling, and frying.
  • Follow proper presentation and garnishing techniques for all dishes.
  • Handle, store, and rotate all food products appropriately.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks during slower periods as needed.
  • Perform additional duties such as washing dishes, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen.
  • Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards at all times, including performing opening and closing cleaning duties.
  • Adhere to company safety and sanitation protocols to ensure the well-being of guests and staff.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.

  • Frequent reaching, bending, lifting, and fine manipulation throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work in both warm and cold environments.
  • Must tolerate higher noise levels from kitchen equipment and customer activity.
