Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Line Cook to join our team at TakoSushi in Augusta, GA. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to high standards of quality and presentation.

• Prepare and cook dishes according to our recipes and specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Ensure timely delivery of food orders and maintain a high level of plate presentation.
• Stock and break down sections at the beginning and end of shifts, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
• Monitor and maintain proper rotation of prepped and batched food items.
• Safely operate kitchen equipment and machinery, following all manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of Food and Health codes, with ability to maintain compliance.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
