Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver engaging mathematics lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
- Develop and implement effective instructional strategies to promote student understanding and achievement.
- Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning and promotes social-emotional growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum that aligns with state and national standards.
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning community.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field preferred.
- New York State Certification in Mathematics or a related area.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a full-time middle school mathematics teacher.
- Demonstrated success in teaching mathematics to diverse student populations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
