Louis Plung & Company is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for leading tax projects, managing client relationships, and supervising tax staff.
Key Responsibilities- Manage multiple tax projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize client tax liabilities.
- Supervise and train tax staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored tax solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and identifying opportunities for tax savings.
- Active certified public accountant's license or other LPC-approved certification.
- 6+ years' experience in public accounting, with 1+ years' experience in supervising and directing tax staff.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop tax staff.
- Proficient in tax software, including CCH, and tax research software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
