Louis Plung & Company is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for leading tax projects and engagements, managing a team of tax professionals, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage multiple tax projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and deadlines to ensure timely completion.
- Lead and develop a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize client savings.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, applying this knowledge to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
- Communicate effectively with clients, partners, and tax director to ensure seamless project execution.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or master's degree in accounting.
- Active certified public accountant's license or other LPC-approved certification.
- Proven ability to bring in new business to a CPA firm.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in tax software and research tools.
