Pediatric ICU Nurse Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) team at Las Palmas Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse - Pediatric ICU, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill children and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill children, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
- Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
- Assist with staff scheduling and manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
- Acute Care experience required.
- Ability to develop a staff schedule.
- Encourages team-building efforts.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
