Job Summary

The Registered Nurse Surgical ICU position at Las Palmas Medical Center offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. As a member of our team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit, collaborating with the patient, family, and healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and coordinate treatment plans.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit
  • Collaborate with the patient, family, and healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and coordinate treatment plans
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Monitor and report patient progress to the healthcare team
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • RN licensed in the state of Texas or Compact State
  • BCLS certification
  • ACLS certification (6 months from hire for GN's only)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred experience as RN in Critical Care
  • Preferred experience as RN 1-2 years in Med-Surg or Telemetry
  • Preferred BSN
  • TNCC and CCRN certifications
