Overview

DPS Group is in search of a skilled Project Engineer with expertise in electrical systems to collaborate with our pharmaceutical client. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in electrical processes and a solid understanding of electrical and backup power systems, along with commissioning and validation protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the prioritization of electrical processes in advance of CQV initiatives.
  • Oversee cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment of project deliverables among internal and external partners, while crafting project timelines to meet critical milestones.
  • Generate project cost estimates and perform associated risk evaluations.
  • Create comprehensive project schedules and conduct risk assessments accordingly.
  • Offer strategies for process enhancement and troubleshoot operational challenges related to site utilities and electrical systems.
  • Review and update system specification documents (URS).
  • Revise commissioning plans (CP) for backup power systems.
  • Formulate commissioning verification (COMV) protocols.
  • Update sensor risk assessments (SRA).
  • Revise standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions as needed.
  • Update Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related Life Science field.
  • Over 5 years of experience in Life Science Capital Projects, with a focus on electrical and power systems. Familiarity with commissioning and validation in a GMP setting is essential.
  • A comprehensive understanding of various engineering principles and their application in the design and execution of significant system modifications, experiments, processes, and capital projects.
  • Must possess legal authorization to work in the US. Consideration will be given to domestic travelers and relocation options.
