Cybersecurity Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will play a crucial role in assessing and building cybersecurity programs with a focus on penetration testing and DevSecOps.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive security assessments on systems, networks, and applications to identify vulnerabilities and improve security posture.
  • Work closely with development and security teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle, ensuring the secure design and implementation of applications and systems.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement effective cybersecurity strategies, aligning with industry and organizational requirements.
  • Lead the development of security best practices, train and educate developers, and mentor junior team members to ensure a high level of security awareness and expertise within the organization.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in penetration testing, security assessments, and DevSecOps.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, FISMA, CMMC, etc.) and security testing and scanning tools.
  • Strong understanding of networking, operating systems, and security concepts.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
