- Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures and protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with workplace operations.
- Develop and maintain documentation of health and safety procedures, including incident reports and corrective action plans.
- Conduct investigations into workplace incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in health and safety management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proven track record of implementing effective health and safety programs and achieving compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, including OSHA and ISO 45001.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Certification in occupational health and safety, such as CHST or OHST.
- Experience with health and safety software and systems.
