Job Overview

RICK Engineering Company is a leading provider of engineering design services in the San Luis Obispo region.

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Land Development Engineer Lead to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects.

Estimated Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of grading and public improvement plans from conceptual design to final documents for residential, multi-family/mixed-use, and corporate campus development projects.

You will also be responsible for preparing and processing technical studies and site plans to obtain entitlements for land development projects.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in land development or equivalent work experience.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of jurisdictional codes, standards, and procedures preferably in the San Diego area.
  • AutoCAD or MicroStation/CADD experience desirable.
