About the Role

Citizens is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Financial Services Professional to join our team. As a key member of our branch, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, providing personalized financial solutions, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their financial goals and needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Financial Solutions: Provide recommendations and assist customers with financial solutions, including planning for the future, buying a home, or opening a new credit card.
  • Digital Banking: Introduce customers to digital and mobile-first ways to handle banking transactions, such as our app or ATMs.
  • Collaboration: Work with partners in Wealth Management, Mortgage, and Business Banking to help customers with more complex financial needs.
  • Outbound Calls: Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkup appointments.
Requirements
  • High School Degree or GED: Required
  • 2 Years of Sales and Customer Service Experience: Demonstrating an ability to meet or exceed goals
  • Strong Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship
  • Demonstrated Skills in Digital Technology: Ability to use digital technology to support the delivery of business goals
  • Proven Success in Building Relationships: Ability to build relationships, recommend, and refer products and services through in-person and phone interactions
  • Aptitude to Problem-Solve: Ability to provide solutions to customer issues
  • Self-Motivated and Confident: Ability to multitask effectively and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to Work Branch Hours: Including weekends and evenings
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • 1 Year Cash Handling Experience
