The San Diego office is currently seeking an Entry Level Fire Protection Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute assigned engineering tasks and document modifications to engineering drawings as directed.
- Support internal teams in assessing and designing fire protection and alarm systems for diverse building projects.
- Assist project teams in conducting building and life safety code evaluations for both new and existing structures.
- Help generate life safety drawings and narratives as part of project documentation.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on various project-related tasks.
- Apply and interpret National Building and Fire Codes and Standards relevant to specific projects.
- Conduct building condition assessments and code compliance surveys for existing structures under supervision.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, or Fire Protection Engineering, or a degree from a Fire Science program.
- Familiarity with REVIT MEP software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
