Job Title: Clinical Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Educator to join our team at EHR Encore Health Resource. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a critical role in educating healthcare professionals on the use of medical devices, with a focus on Pulse Oximetry Devices.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical education and experience working with medical devices. You will be responsible for providing peer-to-peer education and in-servicing to nurses, physicians, and hospital staff to support medical device implementations. Your primary focus will be on in-servicing and installation, with no sales responsibilities or bedside/patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide peer-to-peer education and in-servicing to nurses, physicians, and hospital staff to support medical device implementations.
  • Provide basic installation on Pulse Oximetry Devices.
  • Assess customer-specific education needs and collaborate with staff to deliver a positive educational experience.
  • Utilize clinical/nursing expertise to answer questions and address concerns with the medical device.
  • Provide updates, reports, and valuable feedback to clients during and after in-service assignments.
  • Provide clinical and professional expertise to end users, including RN staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals in a setting without patient care.
  • Provide customer feedback to corporate teams to improve new and existing medical devices.
  • Serve as an education resource on the device.
Requirements:
  • BSN highly preferred.
  • RN license required.
  • ICU, Oncology, ER, and/or critical care unit experience of at least 2+ years, experience within past 5 years required.
  • Leadership experience (manager, educator, preceptor) preferred.
  • Must be comfortable with basic software programs.
  • Experience working with Pulse Oximetry Devices (preferred).
  • Super-user/Pulse Oximetry education experience desired, but not required.
  • Intermediate computer skills required.
  • Ability to work in a group setting and exhibit strong professional acumen.
