Job Summary

The purpose of this position is to ensure a trained, competent clinical staff across the KPGA Region to provide safe, effective patient care in compliance with regulatory requirements, professional standards, and internal policy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver training programs and competency validations based on needs assessments.
  • Collaborate with department directors/managers and physicians to provide consultation and support for clinical performance or programs.
  • Coordinate the PDS Team schedules of regional and national education or professional practice assignments of projects, trainings, competencies, programs, in-services, policies, Scope of Practice, CEUs, Lunch & Learn, Train-the-trainer events, newsletters, Magnet assignments, submit payroll, and conduct other duties as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum five (5) years of clinical experience, including experience in leadership and/or education/training roles.
  • Bachelor of science in nursing.
  • Registered Professional Nurse License (Georgia).
  • Basic Life Support - Instructor within 3 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in a teaching/training environment.
  • Minimum one (1) year in an ambulatory care setting.
  • Certification in Ambulatory Care Nursing, Staff Development, Administration, or related field.
  • Masters degree in nursing or related field.
