We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Construction Lead Superintendent to join our team at Engen Contracting Inc. (ECI). As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and coordinate construction activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve design and construction issues.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
- Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Prepare and submit project reports, including progress updates, budget variances, and safety incidents.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Lead Superintendent or equivalent.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Valid Texas driver's license (or ability to obtain within 60 days).
- Pass a background check and drug test.
