Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests as they arrive and ensure their seating area is tidy, with all necessary utensils and items provided
  • Hand out menus and highlight any special offerings
  • Respond to inquiries about menu items
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen using the Toast system
  • Serve food, drinks, condiments, and other requested items to patrons
  • Verify that meals are prepared correctly and meet customer expectations; return any incorrect or unsatisfactory orders to the kitchen
  • Clear tables as needed
  • Assist with various restaurant tasks, including maintaining cleanliness in the dining area and preparing table settings
  • Carry out additional related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old to work in this establishment.
  • Completion of state-mandated certification and food handler credentials is required.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Organized with a keen ability to accurately take and process orders.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is essential.
  • Experience with Toast is advantageous but not mandatory.

Experience Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a serving role is preferred.
  • Completion of state-required certifications is necessary.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
