The Resident Services team plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. By offering essential services and support programs, they help individuals achieve self-sufficiency and stability.

This position reports directly to the Senior Vice President, Resident Services. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing departmental operations and contributing to the development of strategic objectives.

The Chief of Staff serves as a trusted advisor to the SVP of Resident Services, providing guidance on administrative processes and tools. This role also involves managing the Services Investment Fund, which focuses on deepening investments in residents through matching funds and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain operational systems and protocols to ensure efficient goal setting, tracking, and decision-making.
  • Provide support in balancing priorities and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Oversee the leadership team to achieve outcomes, including goal setting, tracking, and decision-making.
  • Manage agenda creation and facilitation for key departmental meetings.
  • Support HR and Talent needs, ensuring proper staffing, compliance, and licensing.
  • Serve as a coach and thought partner to the SVP of RS, promoting an equity-centered departmental culture.
  • Oversight of the Services Investment Fund, proposal development, and review process.
  • Assist in managing monthly budget-to-actual reviews and forecasting with the accounting team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in program design, development, and implementation.
  • Extensive experience in roles requiring influence-based management and collaboration.
  • Experience designing, building, and improving operational processes.
  • Experience with strategic planning, goal setting, and reporting.
  • Experience managing large budgets and working closely with accounting partners.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
