Position Overview:
The Clinical Adult Counselor plays a vital role in delivering direct patient care under the guidance of the Program Director. This position is essential in fostering a supportive environment for our clients as they work towards their recovery goals.

Compensation:
Salary range: $56,000.00 - $75,000.00

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver clinical therapy and case management aligned with the principles and objectives of our organization.
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments and engage in treatment and discharge planning for an average of 6-7 clients.
  • Manage cases primarily for the adult population, with the flexibility to handle adolescent cases as necessary.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
  • Provide crisis intervention and collaborate with referral sources.
  • Ensure timely and professional completion of all required documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with the treatment team and across the continuum of care.

Qualifications:
  • PhD, PsyD, or a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing direct clinical care within a mental health setting, preferably in an eating disorders program.
  • Independent License is preferred.
  • CPR certification is required.
  • Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of psychiatric group processes, therapeutic relationships, and crisis management.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
