**Job Summary**

JC Golf is seeking a detail-oriented and friendly Banquet Captain to facilitate and serve food and beverages to banquet guests in a gracious manner. This role will be responsible for setting up and breaking down of all banquet events.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Greet and respond to all member and guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Follow all specified procedures to provide prompt and efficient customer service to banquet function guests.
  • Set up and replenish all buffets and food stations, and set up and service all coffee break areas.
  • Be familiar with the menu for each banquet function, prior to service.
  • Assist with banquet and restaurant room setup and breakdown, including setting and decorating tables, folding napkins, preparing condiments, and breaking down and storing tables and chairs.

**Requirements:**

  • English fluency and high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one year experience in food service with knowledge of banquet procedures preferred.
  • Familiarity with different styles of service, including buffet and gourmet meals, various dishes and wines, and proper lifting techniques.
  • Efficient, quick learner with high quality standards for production and service.
  • Team player, courteous and professional who is diplomatic and calm.
