We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Server to join our team at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring that all food and beverage service for functions in the banquet department are served on time and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Beverage Service: Efficiently and properly perform all service standards, attend to all needs of the guests during functions, and report any need for housekeeping and/or repairs of banquet equipment.
  • Pre-Function Preparation: Perform all Banquet side work as designated by the Banquet Captain and/or Banquet Managers, and assist in the upkeep and organization of all liquor liability laws.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service experience, set tables to specifications, carry trays, and ensure that all guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with the Banquet team to ensure seamless execution of events and provide support to colleagues as needed.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: RBS Certified and previous serving experience in a four-star/four-diamond hotel or resort.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for the duration of a full-shift.
  • Communication: Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
