**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Prepare and present high-quality banquet foods, including hot and cold dishes, to meet the expectations of our discerning guests.
  • Train and supervise Banquet Cooks in the preparation and presentation of banquet foods, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Meet specified quality standards to prepare and present all hot foods for plated banquets and buffets, including setting up chafing dishes, plating hot foods, and coordinating service with the Food & Beverage Manager, Banquet Captain, and Catering Coordinator.
  • Prepare special meals, as requested by guests for dietary or other reasons, demonstrating a high level of culinary expertise and attention to detail.
  • Review banquet function sheets daily, in order to establish work detail lists for Banquet cooks, ensuring that every detail is accounted for and every guest is satisfied.
  • Maintain an adequate supply of all provisions in the Kitchen and establish programs that minimize waste and pilferage, demonstrating a commitment to sustainability and efficiency.

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum four years experience in food preparation, including two years in preparation of banquet foods.
  • Some supervisory experience preferred.
  • English fluency required. Spanish language ability helpful.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and efficient, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work productively with little supervision, demonstrating a high level of autonomy and responsibility.
  • Trustworthy and reliable, with a strong commitment to teamwork and customer service.
