Job Description

Our organization, GBU Corral, LLC dba Golden Corral, is seeking energetic and friendly individuals to join our team as a Food Preparation Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Prepare food items according to Golden Corral product specifications and recipes.
    • Maintain a standard inventory of food items according to the Prep Production Guide and the Display Cooking Prep Production Guide and update the guides as directed by management.
    • Ensure optimum yield of products through the product cycle.
    • Label, date, and rotate all bulk produce and prepped items.
    • Ensure all food items are in approved, covered storage containers.
    • Complete use and following of the buffet production system to ensure quality and shelf life compliance.
    • Notify the Manager of any discrepancies, such as food spoilage, invoice errors, excessive waste, or products that do not meet specifications.
    • Assist the Buffet Attendant in maintaining a full, clean buffet.
  • Cleanliness:
    • Clean, maintain, and organize the prep area, including coolers, equipment, and dry storage.
    • Perform duty roster and ensure cleanliness, service, and quality standards are met.
    • Know and follow position responsibilities as they relate to just-in-time delivery.
    • Follow local health department laws.
  • Guest Service:
    • Perform administrative tasks and help guests during meal periods.
