Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide and mentor fellow educators to deliver high-quality enrichment and preschool programs.
  • Facilitate effective communication during pre and post-class briefings.
  • Engage in continuous professional development by collaborating with team members and sharing insights with the Education Director.
  • Provide constructive feedback, coaching, and training to both weekend and weekday teaching staff as necessary.
  • Assist in onboarding new hires into the organizational culture of your location.
  • Take the lead on assigned camp programs or prepare a lead when required.
  • Ensure timely submission of accurate inventory and order requests.
  • Conduct monthly weekend visits for quality checks and training, especially at the beginning of the semester.
  • Allocate hours to include 25-30 teaching hours and 10-15 hours dedicated to projects and training, totaling up to 40 hours per week.

Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in teaching enrichment programs for children.
  • A background in gymnastics, dance, or gym-based classes for children is preferred.

Compensation is set at $25 per hour.

Physical Requirements: The role necessitates standing, walking, sitting, and constant movement, with occasional climbing. The ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds is essential. Specific sensory abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
