Key Responsibilities:
  • Define scope of technical and quality engineering programs and develop effective solutions to challenges.
  • Apply technical and quality engineering experience to resolve complex problems.
  • Provide leadership in determining solutions to complex problems and be recognized as an expert in a functional area of technical and quality engineering specialization.
  • Develop QA programs and procedures and ensure compliance with technical and quality assurance requirements.
  • Prepare plans, including schedules, budgets, and personnel requirements, for solving technical and quality engineering tasks.
  • Serve on a Facility Review Board and provide QA expertise in support of facility start-up and/or operation.
Requirements:
  • BS degree in a technical discipline with 8-10 years of Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Engineering experience.
  • Ability to work in a diverse work environment and fulfill and promote L&A core values.
  • Practical experience in quality control, work control, materials management, civil/structural, mechanical, maintenance, construction, or related areas.
  • Ability to perform weekly field walk-downs of the job site and communicate objectives and results to customers, colleagues, and management.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possession of an active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past two (2) years.
  • Previous Mechanical and Welding inspection or surveillance experience.
  • Current or prior certification as a lead auditor.
  • ASQC-Certified Quality Engineer.

Position will be on-site in Aiken, SC.
