Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at United Global Technologies. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for evaluating the QA programs of major program participants, including subcontractors and suppliers, to recommend corrective actions and provide judgment regarding a project or facility's potential for success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate QA programs and recommend corrective actions to ensure compliance with technical and quality requirements.
  • Conduct weekly field walk-downs of job sites to assess engineering work being performed.
  • Develop and implement effective quality solutions to challenges involving unique or controversial problems.
  • Provide leadership in determining solutions to complex problems and be recognized as an expert in a functional area of technical and quality engineering specialization.
  • Develop QA programs and procedures to ensure compliance and effective execution of technical and quality assurance requirements.
Requirements
  • BS degree in a technical discipline with 8-10 years of Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Engineering experience.
  • An associate degree and 10-12 years of practical experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Engineering experience.
  • A high school diploma with at least 16 years of multi-disciplined professional Quality Assurance or engineering-related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current or prior certification as a lead auditor.
  • ASQC-Certified Quality Engineer.
