Manufacturing Operations Manager

At Cartamundi, we're looking for a skilled Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement manufacturing policies and programs to maintain and improve the company's competitive edge and profitability.
- Direct and coordinate activities to ensure products are manufactured to specifications and on schedule, within quality standards and cost objectives.
- Assure that company objectives are achieved at the lowest cost consistent with quality requirements and company goals.
- Ensure all safety and health standards are met to maintain a safe working environment.
- Communicate regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production.
- Ensure that all material and supplies are available for each production department's operation.
- Ensure that production meetings occur and participate in other meetings required by management.
- Review operating performance reports on a regular basis with supervisors.
- Responsible for reducing spoiled-work and waste.
- Conduct special projects as requested by management.
- Drive a culture of Continuous Improvement.
- Identify, train, hire, and sustain talent.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment and 3-year supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in a printing manufacturing environment.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Printing experience, required. Offset Printing experience, preferred.

The manufacturing Plant is comprised of enclosed office and manufacturing space.
