Plant Operations Manager

Job Summary:

Niagara Bottling is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Operations Manager to lead our manufacturing team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, including safety, quality, production, and cost management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a safe and healthy work environment
  • Ensure product quality and consistency
  • Develop and implement production plans to meet business objectives
  • Manage plant costs and optimize resource allocation
  • Direct and coordinate plant operations within company policies and guidelines
  • Work with department managers to ensure coordination of purchasing, production, quality, and shipping
  • Select and train plant supervisory and administrative staff
  • Foster a well-trained and motivated staff through excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Conduct employee performance reviews and schedule plant meetings
  • Ensure maintenance of a clean and safe plant environment
  • Communicate daily operations to the plant director

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in a manufacturing or similar environment
  • 6+ years of experience in a similar leadership position
  • 4+ years of experience managing people and projects
  • Strong planning and organization skills, ability to multitask
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook proficiency
  • Interviewing, hiring, and training experience
  • Planning, assigning, and directing work experience
  • Appraising performance and rewarding and disciplining employees experience
  • Addressing complaints and resolving problems experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing or similar environment
  • 10+ years of experience in a similar leadership position
  • 6+ years of experience managing people and projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
