Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at J.F. Shea Family of Companies. As a key member of our community team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our residents, vendors, and general public.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and facilitate customer service requests, providing timely and effective solutions to resident inquiries.
  • Provide backup support to team members and complete special projects as directed by management staff.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses and vendors to enhance the resident experience.
  • Source and maintain a list of activity vendors, measuring success through resident surveys.
  • Assist with tours and leasing apartments, demonstrating a strong understanding of our community's amenities and services.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our residents.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Customer service experience in a property management, hospitality, retail, or real estate industry.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Time management and organization skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, with Yardi preferred.
Work Environment:

The Customer Service Representative works on-site at an apartment community, interacting with external and internal customers, residents, and vendors on a regular basis. The position's work schedule varies depending on the property, with weekend days (Sat/Sun) required. Flexibility with availability is essential to meet the needs of the community.
