- Service Requests: Coordinate and facilitate service requests from residents, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution.
- Community Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses and vendors, sourcing and recommending services to residents.
- Event Planning: Plan, organize, and execute resident events, ensuring smooth implementation and resident satisfaction.
- Communication: Utilize computer software to develop and distribute newsletters, flyers, and other communications to residents and prospective residents.
- Key Control: Assist with maintaining key control in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Software Proficiency: Operate and understand YARDI, Yieldstar, AVID, and other property software.
- Tour and Leasing Support: Assist with tours and leasing apartments as directed by the Assistant Community Manager or Community Manager.
- Complaint Resolution: Demonstrate the ability to handle resident complaints and direct them to the Assistant Community Manager or Community Manager when appropriate.
- Customer Service Experience: Required in at least one of the following industries: property management, hospitality, retail, or real estate.
- Technical Skills: Familiar with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook), Yardi preferred.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
The Customer Service Representative works on-site at an apartment community, interfacing with external/internal customers, residents, and vendors on a regular basis. The position's work schedule varies depending on the property, with flexibility required to work weekend days and adapt to changing community needs.
Physical RequirementsThe employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, talk, hear, and use a telephone and personal computer. May be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Must be able to occasionally drive during the course of work.
