Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations to ensure compliance with Goldfish Swim School's standards.
- Assist the General Manager and department heads in completing daily tasks efficiently.
- Manage staff to promote high productivity, outstanding performance, and positive employee morale.
- Train and supervise the aquatics team to deliver exceptional swim instruction.
- Collaborate with Deck Supervisors and Golden Teachers on class scheduling, student progress, and customer service.
- Provide sales and marketing training to qualified staff members.
- Guide the retail and vending departments to ensure a balanced product mix and appropriate pricing.
- Supervise private party staff to maintain operational standards.
- Develop proficiency in the Links software for bookings, class scheduling, and reporting.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary swimming environment through effective pool operations.
- Initiate and manage employee engagement activities to enhance workplace satisfaction.
- Implement and oversee the Emergency Action Plan and safety protocols.
- Stay current with certifications and industry knowledge in aquatics and management.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher is preferred.
- Experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor, camp counselor, or childcare provider is required.
- Two or more years of management experience is preferred.
- Two or more years of experience as a swimming instructor is preferred.
Certifications: Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications are required. Training is provided to complete and maintain these certifications.
