Key Responsibilities
  • Generator Parts Procurement
    • Research and accurately quote generator replacement parts for internal service team and external customers.
    • Purchase and organize generator replacement parts to ensure timely delivery.
  • Customer Service
    • Assist walk-in and phone-in customers by cross-selling, answering questions, resolving concerns, and providing general customer service related to parts, rentals, and residential generators.
  • Inventory Management
    • Ensure organization and cleanliness of the Parts department.
    • Responsible for annual inventory management for assigned warehouse location, including inventory maintained in Technician vehicles.
  • Shipping and Receiving
    • Serve as the primary contact for all shipping and receiving, including ordering, tracking, and problem resolution.
  • Quoting and Invoicing
    • Provide accurate, efficient, and timely quoting and invoicing of parts and residential generators.
  • Vendor Relationships
    • Develop and maintain proactive and meaningful relationships with vendors.
Requirements
  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent with some college preferred.
  • Experience
    • 2+ years of experience in a high-volume parts department or relevant generator technical experience.
  • Skills
    • Experience with material/enterprise resource planning (MRP/ERP) software is preferred.
    • Experience with shipping courier (UPS, FedEx, etc.) software is preferred.
