Cash and Trade Processing Representative

Job Summary:

Citi is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cash and Trade Processing Representative to join our team. As a key member of our operations production team, you will be responsible for processing Public Sector applications, ensuring quality control, and meeting production and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Public Sector applications, including intercept, sRGB review, end-of-day cutoff, dispatch auto verification, reject processing, and data entry.
  • Accurately enter alpha and numeric data to process Public Sector Records.
  • Meet and/or exceed production and quality standards across multiple functional areas, while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with team members, peers, and managers to ensure client timelines and quality requirements are met.
  • Stay up-to-date with operational flow and perform multiple operational functions as business needs fluctuate.
  • Adhere to all departmental policies, client requirements, and compliance guidelines in a strictly regulated environment.
  • Identify potential issues, recommend solutions, and escalate to local management as necessary.
  • Contribute to process improvements and support training needs.

Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and positive peer engagement experience in a diverse environment.
  • Public Sector Lockbox operations experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in at least three functions, including mailroom, batching, scanning, data entry, dispatch, and others.
  • Consistently high-quality metrics above standard in functional areas.
  • Strong attention to detail, proficiency with numbers, and solid organization skills.
  • Ability to respond under pressure and effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to perform various functions within multiple functional areas.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills required, with TMS and Citrix skills preferred.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to perform a full shift of standing and lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • History of working independently while being a respectful team member.
  • Able to work additional hours based on business needs.
  • Able to work a weekend day.
  • Manual dexterity required, with all tasks being repetitive.
  • Citizenship or Permanent Residency (green card) is a prerequisite for this position.
  • Must pass an extensive background check (renewed every 5 years).
  • High School diploma or GED required.
