- Promotes resident hygiene and comfort, ensuring a dignified and respectful living experience.">
- Assists with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, walking, and other personal care needs, promoting independence and autonomy.">
- Distributes food and water, feeds residents, and assists with repositioning and transferring residents, prioritizing their safety and well-being.">
- Ambulates and transports residents, facilitating social interaction and community engagement.">
- Records fluid intake and output, weighs residents, documents flow sheets, and performs perineal care and uncomplicated colostomy care, adhering to established protocols.">
- Responds to call lights promptly, provides emotional support, and reports observations and assessments to the Team Leader/Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse, fostering open communication and collaboration.">
- Maintains resident rooms clean and organized, prepares rooms for housekeeping after discharge, and makes beds, contributing to a positive and healthy environment.">
**Requirements**

- Holds current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of employment.">
- Prior long-term care experience is an asset, but not required.">
