Service Associate Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Service Associate to join our team at Hometown Markets in Owosso, Michigan.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment and providing exceptional customer service. As a Service Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers, operating cash registers, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently, handling customer transactions, processing payments, and making change as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, emptying trash, and performing basic cleaning duties.
  • Assist with receiving and stocking merchandise, including unloading shipments and organizing products on shelves.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals, promote products, and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent not required, but high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.
What We Offer:
  • $45,000 - $50,000 per year, based on experience.
