Job Title: Front Desk Team Member

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our front desk team as a Front Desk Team Member. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and make a real difference in the lives of our guests.

About the Role:

  • We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that every guest feels welcome and valued.
  • As a Front Desk Team Member, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of front office operations, including check-in, check-out, and room assignments.
  • You will also be required to respond to guest inquiries, resolve any issues that may arise, and provide information about hotel services and amenities.
  • In addition to your excellent communication skills, you should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  2. Check-in and check-out guests, handle room assignments, and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
  3. Respond to guest inquiries, providing information about hotel services and amenities, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  4. Operate the front desk computer system, managing reservations, payments, and other relevant information.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring that all necessary supplies and equipment are available and easily accessible.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in a customer-facing role or in a similar industry preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move around the property as needed.
