We are on the lookout for a Customer Experience Representative - Contact Center. As a Customer Service Representative (CSR) at Boston Proper, you will be an enthusiastic and innovative problem solver. Your role will involve assisting customers through various communication channels (email, phone, chat, etc.). You will process orders, address complaints, clarify product details, and suggest additional purchases, all while having access to Boston Proper's exclusive clothing samples. Your primary focus will be to understand the customers' inquiries and provide accurate and efficient solutions, ensuring a positive and memorable interaction.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service (sales experience is a plus).
  • Ability to document detailed information accurately.
  • Proficient in technology, including computers and typing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage challenging customer interactions.
  • Adept at researching and identifying issues, with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Sales aptitude, including upselling and cross-selling.
  • Positive and proactive attitude.
  • Availability to work during holidays, weekends, and occasional overtime as needed.
  • Open to feedback and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Master the software, phone systems, and scripts in accordance with company policies.
  • Handle incoming customer inquiries regarding orders, shipping, product issues, and general questions.
  • Make product recommendations that align with customer needs and enhance average order value.
  • Engage in active listening to de-escalate customer concerns and determine when to escalate issues to management.
  • Contribute positively to the company's success by transforming dissatisfied customers into loyal patrons.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to stay informed about product knowledge, promotions, and policy updates.
  • Communicate opportunities for improvement in customer support processes to management.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills.
