High School Inclusive Learning Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Inclusive Learning Specialist to join our team at East Harlem Scholars Academies. As a member of our instructional leadership team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality instruction and support to our students.
As a High School Inclusive Learning Specialist, you will work closely with your grade team to develop and implement curriculum, track and measure student progress, and create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. You will also have the opportunity to engage in professional development and contribute to the growth and success of our school community.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement high-quality curriculum and instructional strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Provide individualized support and accommodations to students with special needs
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement restorative practices and positive behavioral interventions
- Track and measure student progress, including managing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices in inclusive education
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or related field
- Special Education certification or willingness to obtain
- Minimum of three years of experience in inclusive education or special education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
East Harlem Scholars Academies are community-based Pre-K to 12 public charter schools operated by East Harlem Tutorial Program (EHTP).
