Key Responsibilities:

  • Pool Area Oversight: Conduct regular observations of the pool area to identify potential hazards and take proactive measures to prevent accidents.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, including incidents in the water and on land, and provide first aid and CPR as needed.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of attendance, participation, and pool tests.
  • Supply and Equipment Management: Recommend and procure necessary supplies and equipment to ensure the pool area meets safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Certifications: Possess current certifications in Lifesaving, CPR, and First Aid, and preferably Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff, patrons, and the general public.

Work Schedule: The successful candidate will be required to work varied hours, including mornings, days, and weekends, to ensure adequate coverage of the pool area.
