Job Summary:

U-Haul is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of U-Box containers to and from our storage facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a forklift to load and unload containers onto and off truck beds
Provide exceptional customer service, including the sale of support items and use of online dispatch and rental systems
Perform customer-ready inspections of U-Box containers prior to dispatch and upon return
Prepare, receive, and provide documentation for the delivery or pickup of goods

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationery, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
